As this knowledge has spread, so has our customer base and today our product line has expanded to an industry-best selection of strip doors, sliding and roll up screens and now screens with stainless steel and aluminum mesh. All insect screen mesh is made from durable, all weather vinyl coated polyester which is fire retardant as well as mildew and UV resistant.
A wide array of configurations and options are now available and hence each doorway screen is specifically manufactured to meet our individual customers’ requirements. Motorized
This model comes with an In-tube motor (ITM) or an External -Continuous Duty Motor (ECD) designed for -frequent opening and closing. (ITM not recommended for opening more than 8 times per hour.) The door is operated from a rocker switch which is provided. Both motors have up and down limit switches. The ECD model has an emergency chain hoist. |

Spring Tube Model (STM)
This model rolls on a spring action tube and has two handles to manually pull screen into the down position. Two latches are provided to hold the door securely down. The spring assembly comes heavily lubricated. |

Chain Hoist Model (HM)
This model operates like a traditional chain hoist roll-up loading dock door.
Crank Handle Model (CHM)
This model has an awning type crank handle mechanism which can be cranked by hand or adapted for a hand drill. |

The Rollup door is held securely on the sides by a sturdy, safety striped channel guide with a flared top for ease of operation. It can be ordered as a wall mount or a header mount.
The header mount has a vinyl flap to seal the top to complete the insect exclusion package.
When you purchase a wall mount, sometimes a stand off bracket is needed to give clearance of hardware already existing in the doorway. We provide a vinyl strip to attach to the guide track using Velcro to seal this gap against insect and bird penetration.
A brush is attached to the bottom of the industrial Rollup™ so, when it is in the fully raised position, another seal is made at the top. Horizontal wind re-enforcing bars are fitted to give added strength to the product in windy conditions and a “breakaway” feature allows these bars to pop out of the track if subjected to a severe blow thereby obviating damage to the screen.

Hot Foot strip doors provide the ultimate in choice and quality. Traditional strip doors made from clear PVC are available in wall or header mount, stand off brackets, plain or ribbed or USD/low Temp strips.

For refrigerated areas, or other areas where food handling is involved. For temperatures from -40 to 100. Recommended for interior use only. Available in standard and ribbed type material. |

A more recent development has been the addition of the new “swing hinge” which allows the strips to be attached to a header tubular steel pole and a corresponding universal U-Mounting bracket.
As traffic passes through the door, the strips actually swing instead of bending, thereby reducing damage and extending the economic life of the strips |

COMBO DOOR |

Combo doors are made from heavy duty insect exclusion mesh 17x11 holes per sq. inch and have heavy duty clear or black PVC on the lower portion to reduce the damage caused by fork truck traffic. Designed for up to 8 fork truck penetrations per day, this combo door is a great screen for low usage situations. It is not recommended for high usage situations. |

HYBRID DOORS |

For heavy usage applications, Hot Foot can supply hybrid doors which have clear PVC strips for the most frequently used portion of the doorway and insect exclusion strips for the remainder. This gives the ultimate combination of a permanent heavy duty barrier to stop bird and insect penetration, long life strips with good see-through visibility for fork truck drivers and ventilation strips for cooling in summer. |
