DETER BIRD SPIKES
 Deter Spikes are 100% stainless steel and are fitted using unique clips supplied with the product. Clips allow Deter to be removed and refitted if desired. Apply Deter using Hot Foot E6100 or other adhesives.

Prongs are welded under the base rods to allow rain water to drain away. Note that Deter D-2 has 4 rows of prongs set in an offset pattern for maximum repelling effect.
   DETER FEATURES

• Deter spikes are manufactured entirely from stainless steel designed to have an economic life which exceeds 25 years.

• The unique polycarbonate clips factory fitted to the base enables the product to be rapidly fitted by simply placing a suitable adhesive under each clip and then pressing firmly to the surface.

• If the Deter has to be removed at any time it is simply pulled from the clip and then reinserted when necessary. No tools needed.

• No sharp points.

• Will repel gulls, pigeons and crows.

• Base can be bent to conform to curved surfaces.

• If small birds are present, apply one track of Hot Foot Gel between the two base rods of the Deter.

Clips are attached using a Hot Foot adhesive. Fast and simple to apply.

Ideal for protecting gutters, ledges, walls etc.
Use in conjunction with Hot Foot Gel for lower cost coverage of wide ledges. Place the Deter at the outer edge of the ledge and the gel behind.

Always ensure that the outer spike of Deter D-2 protrudes at least 1/4” over the leading edge of the ledge as shown in the following diagram.

Deter has unique U-shaped spikes which prevent pigeons and small gulls from roosting inside the product.

Adjacent strips of Deter are spaced no more than 2 inches apart. If it is a double-sided ledge then both outer edges must be protected by having the outer spikes of Deter protruding over each ledge.
