Exclusion netting is most commonly fitted using solid anchors which are affixed to the application surface with a permanent anchor. For example, anchors such as eyebolts are inserted by drilling into the surface. Other anchors are screwed or nailed into the surface.
But what happens when the surface cannot be drilled, nailed, or screwed? Hot Foot America recognized the need to develop specialty fittings for use when drilling was not permitted or desired. So we developed both adhesive based systems and a powerful magnetic clamp for steel surfaces. Is a magnet strong enough for such a demanding job? Ours are! Photographs of this installation show over 100ft of netting that has been applied exclusively using magnets as the intermediate anchors.
OUR MAGNETS SECURELY HOLD OVER 100 FT OF NETTING.
Recently we were also asked to provide an adhesive based system for netting to attach to the wall of a refrigerated building where no holes could be drilled. We used our standard "Universal Bracket Large" fittings and attached it using a special double adhesive system. Even under the tension of the 2 inch mesh it held firm and still remains after 12 months of installation!
